The Iranian American Academics and Professionals (IAAP) organization is seeking qualified candidates to serve on its Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for defining strategic planning and supporting the mission and vision of the organization. Depending on their background, members of the Board may also serve on different committees of IAAP and contribute to organizing its events.
The current Board represents a broad spectrum of interests in science, humanities, and the concerns of the Iranian-American community. Individuals and younger members of the community with backgrounds in business, entrepreneurship, and publicity are especially encouraged to apply. The anticipated time commitment per month is around five (5) hours.
Interested individuals are requested to submit a two-paragraph statement (300 words max) including:

• First paragraph: their short biography
• Second paragraph: a description of why they are interested in joining IAAP and the special experience they would bring to the Board.
