Iranian American Academics and Professionals (IAAP)
IAAP is pleased to resume the 2020 cycle of its Scholarship Program. Award selection criteria will solely be based on academic achievements and services to the Iranian and Iranian-American communities. The scholarships will include an IAAP certificate of outstanding achievements and a monetary award of $500. Also, IAAP has established The Dr. Farideh Toorany Memorial Scholarship in honor of its dearest Board member Dr. Farideh Toorany. The exact amount available for awards is currently unknown. The IAAP Fundraising Committee will make every effort to maximize the funds available for awards this year. Each degree (BS/BA, MS/MA, PhD and MD) will have a dedicated number of awards.

Application Deadline
Applications will be accepted until November 6, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. EST or until nominally 75 applications are received, whichever comes first.
Eligibility
Only BS/BA, MS/MA, PhD and MD students of Iranian descent who are enrolled full-time at learning institutions within the following US states are eligible to apply. Non-certified MD holders who are yet to take the USMLE are also eligible.

- Massachusetts

The following applications will NOT be considered:
- Applications from Postdoctoral Associates, MD fellows or MD residents,
- From geographical regions outside Washington, DC and the states listed above,
- Previous recipients of IAAP scholarships in the same degree program,
- Previous recipients of the IAAP Penn State University Chapter scholarships, and
- Part-time students.
