Synopsis:

Starting a technology company, specialty in a convoluted field such as healthcare in the US is challenging. Being an immigrant with little family and friends to back your venture in the early days, and spending most of your career in academia makes it even harder. In this talk, the speaker will share some lessons learned on how to start a technology startup in medical devices with limited resources both financially and intellectually and his transition from academia to a fast-paced startup.

Dr. Toorany’s memorial page for donation

ChildFToorany

Dear Friends:

In memory of my beloved wife Dr. Farideh Toorany, our friends at the Colorado IAAP chapter created a donation page for her at the Child Foundation charity.  To honor her memory, please consider donating at this page to ultimately benefit needy children or  schools in Iran. Child Foundation is a non-profit charity organization in the US.  Thank you for your considerations.
